I arrived at Cudmore and was changing my barbed hook (was already on there due to being left with no hooks previously) over to a barbless when this happend.

Man up Dan! Once had the hook that far in went hospital and they pushed back out the opposite way after cutting the eye off! lol ouch!!!!

I put a baiting needle in my finger that went that far in the latch came out the other side and i had to thread it back thru trying not to hit anything important

I once stood my rod against a tree at isaak walton whilst i had a size 10 wide gape hook in between my teeth tieing my knot and the rod fell over setting the hook in the bach of my mouth. i had to shout my mate over to unhook me obviously after he pissed himself.lol. Bit sore for a couple of days.

or a clip round the lug from your mum for being daft
i actually prefer barbed as most of today's barbed hooks are in-fact micro barbed
in my opinion barbless can do a lot of damage especially if the line goes a bit slack the hook hold can open up due to movement in and out with the change of pressure on and off when the line goes from tight to slack with no barb to stop the movement.
