    Yes mate, not unheard of in carp fishing, more so in winter, look it up on a carp fishing site and you'll see! Wink

    We both did catch actually, I had 10 mins on my quiver tip and bashed 3 bits out Smile I then put it away and let my big boys rods to it.

    affraid Come on mate, I know its not unheard of but you and Dan blanking after the build up to the eagerly awaited day makes me giggle only a bit Wink thats why Carping isnt really for me Sleep

    Said before we went the chances of blanking were very high, fishing a new water, completely blind, in the winter, only a couple of weeks after the big freeze, it was always on the cards.

    It was just good to get my first weekend session under my belt in time for the summer Very Happy

    But, as said above, we both did catch and Ash had a nice carp of just under 14lb Smile

    Well im on hols in April mate so how bout first week in may another 48hrs don't think jim will be coming tho lol i,ll start trying to organise transport my ladies already said no probs

    Cant be first weekend as I am in Blackpool from the 4th to the 7th, but 2nd weekend in? Or you want to make it two days in the week? Thursday and Friday say?

    If its in the week id have to use holidays and trying save them for when baby comes so 2nd week in may will be fine although i think we will have to get there early
