Yes definatley.. There all on the spawn at the min though, think thats why i was fortunate to catch the cat on a carp set up cause all the carp were spawning. But id reckon after this week they be all spawned out and ready for a good munch so il be back out soon.

Looks a nice place that pal. Carnt get over the prices though, £20 for 48hrs! Now that is absolute value for money. Which lake are you choosing on there, new specimin or the old lake? Gonna googl it and see what distance in miles it is from me.

Hoping to be on the old one mate, depends on how busy it is on arrival really tbh. Not fished the newer specimen one yet and as its where the cats live I will be trying it soon.

And yes, £20 for 48 hours is excellent! Will be a cheap weeks holiday for me anyway Very Happy

Have you decided on tactic's and bait bertie? Ie: Are you gonna be spodding or with sticks? What's your poison on hook bait?

Its not a massive venue so I won't be spodding, will be using mesh bags on my distance rod and will be making up a spod mix for my margin swim. I have a variety of sizes and flavoured boilies, as well as the old faithful corn and meat, as well as pepperami and a spicy sausage secret killer bait! lol Will also be taking worms to have a go for the big perch in there (couple of fish over 5lb have come out!!) and maggots as I have made up some maggot clip rigs for a nice big bunch of maggots for the carp and if we are on the top lake, the cats Smile

The only fish I have seen come out of there have all been caught on pale boilies and on the bottom, haven't even had a take on a pop up! But will have my usual bag full of pop ups just in case.

Will also be doing a lot of Zig rigging during the day, more so if the weather stays like this so I will have all bases covered. I will have abut 20 made up rigs to change if nothing doing Smile
