    It's a lovely place.

Much better in the warmer months obviously.

Went their in August and anglers that were putting their stuff in the car were saying that it's slow and nowt coming out.

I set up at around 6pm and before midnight had three 'biggest 13lb, smallest 6lb' and then just as quickly as it started it went really really quiet and i had nothing for the next two days and nights.

Carp up to 30lb and a few over that in there, big tench and barbel too.

There is a few pools there and the one i fish is Wood pool and occasionaly i'll fish Park pool which contain carp up to and just over 25lb.

It's a busy place particularly at the weekends though when i went in August it wasn't busy and lots and lots of swims available.

Quiet at night time...Need to purchase a night permit £10 need ID on who you are and then pay the going rate for your stay. The ID works well because John therefore knows whose on his waters and there's never any mither.

Went a few weeks ago, stayed 3 nights 'lost a nice fish because it had tangled around someone elses snapped line which was attached to the tree branches of the island unfortunately Sad Sad . Caught nothing but Barbel 'biggest 6lb and Bream', no carp Sad

The toilet there must be the shitiest toilet in Macclesfield ever. I take my own Hi gear toilet with solidyfying toilet bags

At the end of the day i enjoy being out there and realise how fortunate health wise that i'm able too.
